Josh's Birthday and Some Sad News

Josh's 23rd birthday is this weekend.  I had assumed he was going out with his Marines for a drunken filled night because well, that's what most young, single guys do on their birthday right?  Well Josh called today and asked me if I'd spend his birthday with him. He said he just wanted to stay in, cuddle, and watch a movie.  I told him I would take him to dinner and we could rent a hotel room in Waikiki. He said no.  He asked if it was ok to just spend the night at my house.  I told him it was fine.

I can't go into the details of what I have planned because Josh reads this blog.  But I promise that it will be something extra special for his birthday.  And I will blog about it, I promise!

And for some sad news :(    A few perceptive readers asked me why Travis wasn't at the gang bang, since I have had threesomes with Matt and Travis in the past.  Matt had told me that Travis went home on leave (or vacation for us non-military folks) and I didn't really ask any questions.  Matt later told me that Travis is being deployed in October for 7 months.  I don't know Travis that well and we don't hang out, but it still makes me worried anytime someone I know will be deployed.  Matt also told me that there is a chance he will get sent on this deployment too.  That made me really sad.  Not only would I be missing him as a fwb, but also as a really good friend.  But that's the life of a Marine (or any service member).  And as a friend of military guys, I know that deployments are a fact of life.  It just never gets any easier though.

Oh and thank you to all the kind readers who checked in on me since I've been sick!  You are all too kind.  I am feeling a lot better.  I slept a lot and took my medicines.  I am planning on going back to work tomorrow.  I hope you all are having a better week than me!  I am off to bed.  Good night!

  1. I'm glad to hear you are feeling better.
Wishing the best for both Matt and Travis for a safe (as is possible under the conditions) return.

Know that they will bring those memories of you with them and will help them get through whatever gets thrown at them.

  2. Thank you, Marcus. I ended up taking another sick day today. I slept a lot last night but woke up with my cough again. I have a good amount of sick days saved up and I rather get better than make the rest of my office sick.

And thank you for your kind words. If they both get deployed, I'm sure we will plan something fun and make more memories. I would miss my threesome partners, but I'm sure I would survive! lol
