TMI Tuesday - Formspring Follies

Today’s TMI Tuesday consist of Formspring questions pulled from around the Web. The NY Times called Formspring “An E-vite to Insults and Crude Queries.” I admit, I pulled the tame, less crude questions.

1. What is your favorite type of weather?
I like cool, windy weather.  In Hawaii, we are fortunate if the temperature goes below 70 degrees.  We have had a lot of humid days and nights this year and it's the worst feeling to wake up and be sweating.  (I'm sure there's a sexual joke in there, but I'm too tired to make it!  lol)

2. How do you sustain the motivation and energy needed to write erotica regularly?
My loyal readers keep me motivated.  Everyday, I get kind emails from readers.  It's these people who make me want to take an hour out of my day to write a new post.  I figure if they can take a few minutes out of their day to read my blog and send me an email, the least I can do is write a post.

3. Do you like roleplay? What is your favorite scenario?
I do like to roleplay!  I love dressing up and playing a character.  I've always enjoyed the school girl scenario, but the naughty nurse is equally fun.  For Halloween, I dressed up as Wonder Woman and being a superhero was a lot of fun!  I felt like I had super powers!

4. Have you ever been hurt so badly in a past relationship, that it has affected you for the rest of your life?
Yes, I have.  A couple of times.  I also had a girl, whom I thought was a good friend, sleep with my boyfriend.   I try to learn from each situation, but I try really hard not to have any baggage.  I don't want to blame a new guy for the mistakes the old guy made.  I go into each relationship with an open heart and an open mind.

5. What message would you want to put in a fortune cookie?
I would put something silly like, "Will you marry me, Jen?"   That would make the person think they got someone else's special fortune cookie.  Maybe that's lame, but that's the first thing that came to my mind!  lol

6. How big is your dick?
Last I checked, I had a pussy, not a dick.  But to play along, I do have a dildo that is 7" long.

Bonus:  I would like to know, do you have Formspring on your blog? Why or why not?
I do not have Formspring on my blog.  I have an email associated with my blog that I welcome my readers to use.  I also have a Tumblr page with an Ask box that people can use too.  Formspring just seemed like overkill.

Bonus, bonus: What is the best or oddest formspring question you’ve been asked? What was your answer?
I don't have Formspring, but the oddest question I've gotten was the guy who asked me if I'd be a surrogate for him and his wife.  I was floored by that.  I've never even thought of having a baby, but if I did and needed a surrogate, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't ask a complete stranger on the internet!  Oh and in case there was any doubt, I politely declined his offer.

TMI Tuesday - Breaking Up Is Hard To Do

This week’s TMI Tuesday idea is from Heelsnstocking

1. What’s the worst reason you have been given for breaking up?

A guy told me that his mom and dog didn't like me, so he dumped me.  I thought it was bizarre considering I  saw his dog once for about a minute and she seemed to like me just fine.  And I had never met his mom!

2. What’s the worst reason you gave, to someone, for breaking up?

I told him his voice was too high and it turned me off!  I was young (15) and I probably could have handled it better.

3. Have you ever engineered the end of a relationship e.g doing something you know will put the other person off? If yes, what did you do?

I really had to think about this, but no, I haven't.  I've either been dumped or I did the dumping.  I don't waste my time making the other person miserable.

4. Have you ever stayed with a partner just because you could not bear to end it?

No, I haven't.  When I'm not happy in a relationship, I tend to jump ship.  Some of my friends think I give up too easily, but when I see red flags and know we won't be together forever, I get out.

5. Have you ever encouraged a friend to end a relationship? What happened? Are you still friends?
If a friend asks for my advice I give it.  I've told friends they should get out of a toxic relationship.  Sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't.  In the end, it's their choice.  I usually give my opinion once.  If they choose to go against my advice, then I keep my opinion to myself from then on.

Bonus: Have you ever been the cause of a relationship to end? Tell us about it.

Yes, a few times.  A couple of times it was because the guy lied and said he was single when he was really married. One wife asked me to go with her to file her divorce papers!  I've also been the cause of my male friends being broken up with.  For some reason, girls have a problem with me being friends with their boyfriend, even if I knew him first and we are just friends.  The girls end up giving the guys ultimatums and they choose my friendship over their relationship.  It's a bad idea to try to compete with me. That's why I don't like having female friends.

Single-phobia?

This post isn't about me.  It's about some of the friends I have.  Why are people so afraid to be single?  I just don't get it. Why would you want to spend time with the wrong person just so you can put on Facebook that you're "In A Relationship"?  I have to listen to my friends (males and females) tell me how unhappy they are with their partner, but they don't want to break up because they don't want to be single.  And then when the relationship does end, they are scrambling to find a new partner.  It's frustrating to see this vicious circle, but what can I do right?

The Most Asked Question...

Last night, I hung out with a friend who just got back from deployment.  It's the first time I've seen him in over a year, so I was happy to spend time with him.  One of the things he asked me was, "Why are you still single?"   Ahhh, the most asked question.

I just got out of a relationship about 6 months ago.  It did not end well.  And while I believe in taking chances and not having baggage, I am not ready to be in another relationship.  While some people are relationship-whores, I like being single.  I like having my freedom.  I like not having to answer to someone when I want to see my friends, stay out late, and sleep in.

I really have not made any attempts to date.  I have spent the last 6 months bettering myself, making new friends, and enjoying my life.  I have met some great people and was lucky enough to reconnect with some of my former fwb whom I used to hook up with before I was in a relationship.

I do look forward to the day that I meet someone so amazing that I will want to be in a relationship again.  But until then, I will be happy with my single life and enjoy all that it has to offer  :)
